This seems to be an interesting seminar.
Are partcipants from Uganda eligible to get involved?
Is application time too late or still an opportunity?
    Thank you very much.

The application period for NIEES is closed, and all available slots have been filled. Although no further applications are being accepted, there may be future seminars.  In which case international students will still be welcome to apply, but we will most-likely be unable to cover the costs of airfare to and from the seminar.

Will the institute focus on U.S. issues only?

The agenda will likely focus on issues relevant to the U.S., however a number of faculty and speakers attending the institute have worked on international issues, particularly regarding China and India. The amount of international focus will also depend on how many of the students attending have an interest in international issues.
