The following video resources are made available on Lockheed Martin Corporation’s website for use by academic institutions for educational purposes. All other entities interested in using these videos must request permission from Lockheed Martin’s Corporate Ethics Office.
Lockheed Martin’s Ethics Awareness Training, based on Dr. Mary Gentile’s pivotal work, Giving Voice to Values, provides an overview of Lockheed Martin’s standards of business conduct and prepares employees to recognize and react to situations that may require ethical decision making.
The annual training starts at the very top of our organization, when Lockheed Martin's Chairman, President and CEO, Marillyn Hewson, trains her staff. The leaders trained by Marillyn Hewson then train their respective teams, and this pattern continues until all employees have participated in a training session facilitated by their manager.
During the training, participants view several video scenarios, which are based on actual case files from the Ethics Office. Then they discuss the videos and talk about how to apply the five Voicing Our Values techniques - ask questions, obtain data, talk to others, reframe the issue and report violations.
Lockheed Martin’s episodic “Integrity Minute” video series invites viewers to take a front-row seat in an ethical dilemma. The Integrity Minute is produced from actual Ethics Office case files and raises employee awareness throughout the year. These videos help prepare employees to identify and respond to ethical dilemmas.
Though the Integrity Minute is optional viewing for employees, it has proven quite popular thanks to their soap opera style and high production value. Employees can watch new episodes as they are released or view the compilation after the final episode appears. Three new series are released every year, and the latest series is available on Lockheed Martin’s external website.
